My return to Substack
Welcome New subscribers
After a break from the platform whilst putting the finishing touch to my first Novel published in June under the title of ‘One Day in May, and only last week completed the writing of the second novel under the title of ‘The Day of the Spider’ which is sort of a sequel. It’s now being proofread and is due to be published at the end of October. A third novel entitled, ‘Six Days in December’ relating to the six days the ‘Bonnie Prince’ spent in Derby in 1745. Much has already been written of this historic event, but my novel throws a slightly different slant on the event due to research conducted in which a manuscript written at the time was discovered and is fully transcribed in the appendix. This novel is more about the spies and double spies that played a great role in the Prince’s downfall rather than the well documented (confused) prose already published.
I am just starting writing my fourth novel a sequel to the ‘ The Day of the Spider’ about a female serial killer who copies the methods of the Black Widow Spider and gets away with it or does she? It is likely to be called ‘Succubus’ , Google the word to get the gist.
So plenty to do along with moving house but I felt I should acknowledg and thank the readers for their increasing interest. My particul thanks to our Stateside cousins who have recently subscribed. Your interest is appreciated.
